Our two-day Character Education Leaders’ Course has been developed in partnership with the Association for Character Education and designed to give primary education professionals the confidence to run a successful character education programme within their school.
Participants will experience interactive workshops and research-informed theory, to embed character education and support children to build a foundation of good character.
From interactive workshops to creative role play and multimedia materials, our course offers everything participants need to effectively embed character education in their school and engage pupils in the learning process.

Meet the hosts
Training will be delivered by Dan Kelly and Jimmy Thorpe from Commando Joe’s. They will be supported by Tom Haigh and Gary Lewis from the Association for Character Education – the UK’s largest character education-based community for teachers, leaders and practitioners.
Building character is fundamental to developing well-rounded young people, helping them make the right choice when nobody is watching in school, in the community and even more so online. Character education inspires the next generation and supports children to think, feel and behave positively, encompass self-awareness and empathy.
This course is designed to be a two-day inspirational experience, giving participants the latest research, knowledge and strategies to embed character education back in their school.
